Big and strong but highly versatile. Type of player that is extremely well rounded. One of the top 3 point threats in the state with a 6 foot frame. Will guard your top post player or any position and lead the team in rebounding and 3’s made. Plays 4 positions and will spread the floor and attack with sheer strength and determination. 4 sport athlete who played both softball and baseball in high school. Pitcher as well as third baseman. You may not ever coach this strong a kid. Smart dependable and fundamentally sound – led high school in 5 categories. A can’t miss!! Against a Zone Defense Kellie makes an excellent point guard. She can pass to everyone and does not have turnovers. Excellent Passer!
Kellie Lee Deremo - 2009 6'0" Shooting Guard
With four players scoring at least nine points a game, balance is the strength offensively. Kellie Deremo has explosive offensive skills. She scored 35 and 34 points in back-to-back wins over Telluride and Nucla this year. She leads the team in scoring with almost 18 points per game.
Kellie Deremo contributed 12 points, five rebounds and three blocks.
The Bulldogs also can look to junior Kellie Deremo, a great three-point shooter.
Norwood will have the tough task of preparing for 6 foot junior Kellie Deremo (16.6 points per game, 8.2 rebounds per game). Deremo is coming off a season-high 23-point performance in a 73-32 win over league-foe Dolores on Saturday, Feb. 2.
