VIDEO OF MOLLY FONTERA 2007-08
NOTES FROM CLUB COACH:
Tall and long with very long reach and high jump also has quick hands. Great leaper who blocks shots plays point, wing & forward - all around tremendous athlete. Molly is a versatile ball handler, ambidextrous and can play many positions 1-4. She is a clutch outside and 3-point shooter. She takes it hard to the basket from both sides of the floor and draws fouls. She is able to shoot with either hand and is very coach-able. Molly is a very good rebounder. You can put her down low on defense and up top on offense and vice versa. Not unusual to see her shutting down opposing pointguards one half and matched up against a post up player the next half. Molly is a great passer and has spin moves off the drible and sees the floor very well. Molly plays Point guard really well against a Zone defense!

Littleton game vs. Heritage 02/08
But the Eagles hit just 2-of-8 3-pointers in the second quarter, and the Lions caught up. Molly Fontera hit two 3s for Littleton, closing the gap to 22-21. A few minutes later, Tanecia Quillen made a great pass to Julie Reed. Reed drove the lane, sunk the shot and drew the foul. She hit the free throw to complete the three-point play and give the Lions a 24-23 lead, their first since early in the game.
"Fontera, a sophomore, finished with a team-high 11 points. Quillen and Craver each added 7."
