I am a player on the Colorado Premier – Heat girls basketball team summer 2008. My name is Lindsay Coons. I am a sophomore at Cherry Creek High School and I play Varsity. The Colorado Premier – Heat girl’s basketball team helps girls achieve their dreams of playing High School Varsity Basketball and potentially in College. My goal is to play college basketball on a Basketball scholarship. I have played on this team since 8th grade and my coach continues to bring out the best in me. Our team is playing in 3 College Viewing tournaments in July 2008. End of the Oregon Trail (Portland), River City Classic in Memphis and Midsummer Night’s Madness in San Diego. We are also playing in 4 local Colorado tournaments.
I am trying to raise money so I can participate this summer. The cost this year is $3000.00 and that includes all travel and accommodations. We are doing several fundraisers. In addition we are asking for donations to help raise money. Junior Athletics of the Midwest is a nonprofit organization with a 501c3 so your donation is tax deductable.
